"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. "Beautiful Inn, very nice staff,helpful and didnt laugh when i called and asked about the sheets they used. Those were amazing!!!!! I jave wanted to stay there for many years and it was everything i thought it would be. Clean room,hot shower,plenty of towels. I will be staying again"

"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"The room was exceptionally clean -- no dust even in high places. Comfortable lodging. The closet was ridiculously small however. Breakfasts were very good. And every member of the staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese. Located very close to shops and restaurants downtown."
