"Very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel stay was, the room was very clean and spacious, bed very comfortable, liked the illuminated picture above the bed, breakfast was good. It was a short 10 min walk to restaurants and shops in the town centre, and close to bus route into the city."

"Was booked for 4 nights. Resturaunt shut mon open tues and wed. Shut thurs no reason given. Thin quilt in room. Curtains did not fit and i was on street level so in dark people could look in from street. Room not cleaned bin emptied or towels changed during entire stay. Was not cheap to stay there either. I am well traveled and stay away 4 nights a week with work and this was not good."

"It seems to be family-owned. The staff is fantastic, very cordial and friendly. They provided ear plugs, I’m assuming because of the train and bus station across the street but at night time it wasn’t too bad. Just an occasional train once in a while. We were parking on a weekend so we had plenty of street parking options since the meters aren’t in effect on Sunday and there seemed to be a garage not too far away. Good distance from Cologne and Bonn. Breakfast was delicious. "

"The size of the swimming pool is sufficient for length swimming. Unfortunately the sauna was out of service. The buffet breakfast was substantial, but closed at 09.30 with the check out time at 10.00"

"The staff at the rec option desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was an ok size for a single occupancy. Typical twinbed style as it is common in Europe. Clean room. Comfortable mattress (I prefer the harder mattresses), and shower and sink water pressure were perfect. It is also only a 10-minute walk to Koelnmesse or one subway stop. "

"What a truly exceptional hotel! You can tell what pride the staff take in making their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Francisco especially went out of his way to give recommendations and help with all aspects of my stay. Great location, an easy 5-minute walk to the main train station and cathedral (thanks to clear instructions provided by the hotel in advance). The rooms are cozy, very clean, and very comfortable. And the breakfast buffet is the best I had on my multi-city trip! I’d stay...
