"Lack of tourism has clearly hit this resort hard and a lot of maintenance is required to get this hotel looking good again. That said, it was clean, the staff were attentive but it needs more guests "

"We loved A La Koh Kood. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Robert was amazing. The food at the resort was so good. We loved th chicken cashew nut and the shrimp tempura. The room was clean and spacious. We used the main sitting area in our bungalow every night. The beach was stunning. The only negative would be the access road coming into the resort. It was a 10 min very bumpy uneven road. This is not the resorts fault though...the government is responsible for the road and doesnt fix it."

"Perfect resort for peaceful vacation. The only way to get there is by small boat. The sea water are like glass clear, there are many relaxing spots and above all is the service. The staff is ready all day and night to support and give a practicl advice. Highly recomended"

"Visited Koh Kut several times stayed at different hotels all good standards, Dusita had the advantage of a beautiful peaceful private setting and beach, the beauty of Dusita is the abundance of grounds and beach to number of guests giving a good amount of privacy. The beach is great for people who like snorkeling fantastic variety of coral and sea life !!!!! The food is of a good standard serving a very nice selection for breakfast, food served through out the day and drinks they have very good...

"Amazing resort! So clean and well kept! Staff was amazing! Free breakfast was great but after 8 days we wish there were a few more options! Our villa with the private pool was heaven and the views from all over the property are amazing. The bed was hard for our liking but it didn’t spoil our trip! Options for a softer topper would have been perfect! Loved how we were walking distance to everything on lonely beach."

"This place might’ve looked great in his heyday, but not anymore. The version you see in the advertisement photos is not what you find when you arrive. We found a rundown version where many things didn’t work as they should. We booked the “Grande Deluxe” room, their most expensive. In that room, we found debris and construction materials leftovers. When we mentioned that the bathtub was not working, they claimed it was not mentioned in Expedia’s posting; thus, they had no obligation to repair it...

"i think this is the best beach on koh kood. it is very beautiful and quite. there are not many ppl on the beach at all time. i-lay is the resort that has the rooms closest to the beach. the rooms are about 15 yards to the beach. the staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. there are kayaks and paddle boards that we can use free of charge. we enjoy the stay and will definitely come back. "
