"Nice Hotel, friendly and helpfull staff."

"Dinso is a very large resort. You don't get a scale for how large it is in the photos, but when you get there, it's spread out. We've stayed at many hotels/resorts by the beach and Dinso by far was the best. The bar and restaurant seating is right next to the beach, the pool is massive and appears to be of olympic length, the staff is great; always friendly and polite, and the breakfast is fantastic! The rustic nature of the property is absolutely gorgeous. The photos you see do not do it justice. You have to see it to really appreciate the amount of work that has gone into the design and the build. It's rustic done right! Our stay was four days and we did not want to leave."

"Paradise! Beautifully landscaped, own tiny beach where you can swing over clear waters, gorgeous pool, super peaceful, nice restaurant, lovely, clean, round air-conditioning posh "huts', good hot showers and large dressing area. Plus the sweetest people working there! Very helpful. Only downsides, the rooms had no full length mirrors, and as I'm short, I could only ever see the top half of my head before I went out. PUT SOME MIRRORS IN THE ROOMS PLEASE! Also, you need to hire a bike/scooter, which the reception will glady organise for you, to get to any other cafe/ bar if you wanted to dine elsewhere, which made us feel slightly like hostages to their good, but somewhat-for-Thailand expensive restaurant. Still, compared to Europe, it's a bargain. And it is PARADISE! I spent my whole time there smiling."

"We had an amazing week here as a family. The property is at the end of an incredible beach- you have to walk to the next resort to access the sand but it’s only a 2 min walk away. The breakfast had loads of great Thai and English options and the cleaning staff made the room beautifully clean and tidy again every day. But the absolute highlight for the kids was that the elephants walked past our room/the restaurant and the beach at least 6 times a day and would often stop to wave and trumpet at them! Magical! "

"I was greeted by a very friendly staff and stayed in a very clean and modern bungalow located on one of the best beaches on the island , I would recommend it and will definitely be back ! Some the best snorkeling on the island is located at that beach and it’s a great beach for paddle boarding and swimming "

"the facility is very nice and clean. the beach is very clean as staff clean it twice a day. we booked 2 beach front rooms and 1 hillside room. all the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. this side of the island got wind and bigger waves in the morning, but calm down in the late afternoon. the breakfast was good and got variety of selection. we had one dinner at the hotel. the food was ok. there are many good restaurants nearby, so we decided to try them out. they also hv their own golf cart and scooter for rent. staffs are very friendly and helpful. they even provide coconut oils and mosquito repellent for free at the reception area. there are sea flies on this side of the island. coconut oil helps. it wasn’t fun getting bitten by one. the hotel also has snacks hours which is also free. my mom enjoyed the sandwich and corn dog during snack hours. we really enjoy our time there. highly recommended "

"the property is very clean and beautiful. the common area is beautiful and clean. the beach is nice and quiet. there is not much wind and waves on this side of the island, so it is good for kayaking. there are many flowers and trees on the property. it is just beautiful. the room itself is also spacious, clean and beautiful. the bed is very comfortable. we booked 3 rooms. everything in the room works, and everyone was happy with their rooms. what we didn’t expect was the food. the breakfast is amazing. it is not like a normal hotel breakfast. everything is delicious. we also had dinner there everyday, and every dishes we ordered was delicious. all 6 of us love having meals there. all the staffs are friendly and very helpful. we all enjoyed our time there. we definitely recommend this place for anyone going to koh mak"
