"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied. "I loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful. Dinner wasn’t bad but not mind-blowing. Breakfast was pretty good. You could tell that every detail of the room was chosen meticulously for comfort and a smaller environmental footprint. The outdoor space in the back was heavenly to watch the sunrise. I was even lucky enough to have a bunny come hangout with me. "
