Brilliant break!
Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!

Great location for a relaxing break
Great wee cabin with hot tub, a bit confusing with check in details differing between vrbo instructions and owners instructions (go with owners instructions) Great community feel from the chalet site. Only slight downside is if you are a family that are over 6ft as cabin is very compact. Overall a lovely relaxing break.

Awesome
We stayed in a cabin with hottud. We had a fantastic time but not the best view of Loch due to bushes. If they were cut back a bit it would have been perfect. This was our second stay and we had a lovely time very peaceful and relaxing. Will defo be back. X

Our stay
It was very fun, and we all enjoyed it very much. Although it rained alot that didn't ruin the beautiful scenery. The hot tub was lovely and amazing to come home to when it was cold. It was a massive bonus. The rooms were lovely and clean and I think if me and my family got the chance we would deffinately come back!

Tranquil Loch Awe stay
Lovely stay at Innis Chonnel! Cosy cabin with all the main amenities you would expect and, wifi, 2 pleasant deck areas and fantastic hot tub. Lovely grassy area in front + swingseat good for sunbathing! Loch Awe is stunning and the village of Dalavich is charming and peaceful. The lodge village is spacious and has a nice play area/rope swings for children and several small beaches very close to the lodge, great for swimming/launching kayaks/paddle boards etc. There are also good walks and mountain bike tracks nearby (no need to drive to). Takes ~ 15 mins drive to the nearest pub Kilchrenan Inn (very nice) There is a bar in the lodge village we didn't try but looked pleasant. ~ 30 mins drive to Taynuilt (couple more small shops and another pub) and ~ 45 mins to start of Ben Cruachan which is a very challenging hike we enjoyed! Also enjoyed a Seafari boat trip and the Whisky Distillery Tour in Oban. Don't forget midge repellent if you are suspectible! Try Smidge or we have been recommended Avon Skin so soft! Also perhaps travel sickness tablets if you are no good with windy roads- Dalavich is off the beaten track (although roads are in good condition)Thank you very much! Would come again.

Great to get away to some peace and quiet. The cabin and surrounding area was fantastic. We hired a boat for the day and visited the island on the loch and also managed to take in the Taynuilt Highland games which was a great day. Would visit again

Cozy cabin, beautiful views, escapism at its best!
We enjoyed our short break at the innis chonnel cabin recently. The cabin was small and cosy but well equipped and had everything you needed. Enclosed private decking was perfect for our dog Loki. The hot tub was great very clean and well maintained and so relaxing. No phone signal for us which was welcome. Lovely walks all around, we didn’t do half the stuff we initially intended but will deffo be back. I’ve still got a castle, waterfall and boat ride to be seen/had. Not far from Oban and spent a lovely day there very dog friendly place everyone loved our big malamute which doesn’t always happen (he is huge lol). Would recommend To anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful place and just enjoy each other’s company.

Nice Getaway
We stayed here for three nights on a recent road trip of the UK. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. The first day, we drove to Oban and toured Iona and Mull. The second, we had a "vacation from our vacation," hanging out at the loch and cabin during the day, then dining and drinking at the social club in the evening. The social club had very friendly locals which was so much fun. A few things... The satellite TV did not work as advertised. It's not the reason why we were there, but it would have been nice, as would internet access in the cabin itself. Towels are not included, and we were not made aware of this until a day or two before we arrived. We managed fine, but we could have been made aware of this earlier, and frankly, if you're paying a service to wash linens, towels shouldn't be much of a stretch. Get a French press. They're cheap, and the coffee drinkers will be grateful.

A quiet magical spot hidden in Scotland
We spent an amazing week at this cabin as part of our honeymoon. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. The views of the loch are relaxing. The hot tub is glorious. But most importantly, the residents of Dalavich are warm, inviting, and fun to spend time with! We hiked, boated to castle ruins on an island, relaxed in a very clean hot tub, had a fire in the fire pit, joined the locals in the community club for drinks and dinners, and watched the sun go down (at midnight!). Mr. Fleming was very gracious and friendly. We were happy to meet him and his family at the social club. We would love to return in the future!
