Very dated small room and bathroom
Very dated small room and bathroom. No Breakfast available. Gardens overgrown, not as pictures, and property outside uninviting. Very expensive room rate for what it was. I would not rebook.
We had booked a standard double room including breakfast via Hotels.com. When we arrived we were told the booking had been made for a budget double room without breakfast. there was no effort whatsoever on the landlady´s behalf to sort this out. Due to staff shortage there was no breakfast available. We tried Hotels.com to rectify the booking but were given a negative answer.
The room we were given was very old-fashioned and cramped. The bed was small and too short and there was hardly any space to move, let alone put down your luggage. The bathroom was very outdated and really needs renovation.
All in all a very disappointing experience, we would advise people against booking here.

Made very welcome.if looking for a relaxing break it’s a great place to stay
Perfect location overlooking the sea. Literally across the road. A 5 minute work into Inveraray high street. A range of shops and Inveraray jail. Well worth a visit. Walk on a further 10 mins to Inveraray castle.. stunning…
Our hosts were amazing. So friendly and informative. This beautiful house has been kept in its former charm. Spotlessly clean and well presented. A typical country home but on the sea edge.. Breakfast was second to none. Literally a work of art and sooo tasty.. This has been the best place we have stayed in on our travels around the highlands. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed, home from home stay. Superb thank you 😊 p.s the front lawn is cut to perfection. Loving the stripes….
Beautiful house, very comfortable rooms, friendly host and staff, breakfast was good. Will definitely return. Hosts also recommended dining options with us. Very good
Out side is beautiful inside the same.fantastic location and views, owners excellent and carnt do enough for you. I’d definitely use the hotel again if returning to Inveraray, excellent
First class accommodation with stunning views. Very friendly owners, he was a chef in michelin star kitchens, needless to say the cooked breakfast was the best I've ever had. 10/10.
We would recommend to anyone.
