"My wife and I decided on a weekend getaway on short notice. We enjoy touring old mansions and so we were delighted when we came across the Alexander Mansion while doing a google search of nearby bed and breakfasts (We live in Minneapolis). The check-in with Richard was fun and easy. Richard provided several dinner recommendations and made our reservation once we decided where we wanted to go. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well designed. The mansion was a step back in time....

"Our host was fantastic! Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. Her daughter Grace made the most delicious breakfasts. A egg, spinich and cheese filled croissant with bacon for Saturday morning and french toast cubes with caramel and sausage for Sunday. OUTSTANDING! "

"Stay was amazing. I cant say enough positive things about this property. Loved the loft feel, the open plan, the comfort, its super modern, but so cozy, the decor is incredible, nice fireplace Lots of room, that bluetooth speaker is pretty cool, im putting that on my wish list, the views from the windows, are very cool you can see the marina, and also check out the cool shops across the street.there is a roof top deck but i didn't venture out because it was snowing.
