"I was in room 321 and the basin hot tap did not work also the shower took an age to drain away,something that housekeeping should have noticed while cleaning,overall the building was tired with dirty carpets etc,the staff though were excellent"

The room had recently been refurbished and there were a couple of small issues- missing remote control, broken hairdryer, issue with the toilet- however the staff sorted these straight away and all the staff could not do enough to help. They were all friendly and polite. "

"The hotel use to be a police station,so the building has lots of character. It is lacking in chef so the breakfast was limited however adequate. The room was nice and the bed was comfy even if outdated. "

There was plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate available, as well as the usual kettle, and a fridge with real milk (as well as those plastic uht ones). The continental breakfast was available in the room and topped up daily, but with the added bonus of having a large kitchen available with toaster, kettle, microwave, oven and hob to cook and a large table to eat at.
