Our first floor room was spacious and well decorated with all ameneties including tea/coffee, fridge, beach towels etc. TV had Netflix etc. More St James than Kalk Bay but only 10mins walk to Kalk Bay. Breakfast was excluded but we just added and the choice was extensive. parking was available just around the corner. "Kalk bay is fab, a buzzy atmosphere with a great range of shops, cafes, and restaurants. We stayed at Majestic for a total of 3 weeks in two different types of accommodation, both great for different reasons. Will stay again without hesitation "

"We booked two weeks before our stay but when we arrived there were initially only construction workers on site and the hotel was closed. A manager was called and surprised that we had been able to book as Stoep was meant to be offline for renovations. We checked again while standing with him and Stoep was still live on the booking sites and accepting reservations.
