"I felt extreme abdominal pain when I arrived to the hotel on the first day. I had to ask the hotel to call an ambulance for me even if I'm non-Japanese and it's my first trip to Japan. The front desk lady helped me called one immediately and prepared my personal information right away. After I returned from the hospital, the manager upgraded my room for free for my medical condition without asking. They checked on me everyday to see if I was feeling better during the entire stay."

We borrowed a fan from the laundry room to use in the room just to circulate the air as the aircon is not working well (in addition to the smell). Washing machine was dirty and didn’t look like it has been maintained. It was raining...

"Location, location, location! Love that the hotel property is immediately next to the train station, but extremely quiet. I've started there a dozen times, and always requested the side facing the mountains, which makes me happy because it's absolutely peaceful. Quite 2 convenience stores and 2 supermarkets full of ready-to-eat meals within quick walking distance for budget meals. Best of all, getting to the train station is absolutely easy."

Super friendly and the room seemed to be recently renovated and the hotel has some sections that we getting updated and will be even better for the next visit. Dinner was fabulous. "Hotel is situated in a quiet location. There isn’t much around this area but lots of onsens in the vicinity. Footbaths in town are free. Walkable to the Kurobe Gorge Railway & train station. This traditional room is very cozy & comes with a small separate living area with an enclosed balcony view. Do note that the convenience store is quite a distance away, so come prepared.
