"Very very dated hotel. Hotel was a distance away from the train station so it was inconvenient to get to the hotel with luggage and then head back to the train station for meals and head back again. There was a musky smell in the room and the countertops were dusty. We borrowed a fan from the laundry room to use in the room just to circulate the air as the aircon is not working well (in addition to the smell). Washing machine was dirty and didn’t look like it has been maintained. It was raining when we arrived so there’s no view of mountains, only the radio tower and buildings can be seen. "

"Jal City easy stroll from trains(local and Shinkansen). Close to MAROOT for shopping and casual dining. 20 minute walk to Toyama Castle/Museum. Staff are friendly, helpful, and extremely professional! "

"We stayed for 2 nights. It's a great spot near the train station. The beds were comfy and rooms felt very private. Loved the spa amenities and breakfast. While they do not service the rooms every day, they left is a goodie bag of fresh towels and toiletries which we very much appreciated. The only down side was that there was some mold in the shower and near the vent. "
