Friendly staff and just an over beautiful area. I couldn't believe my view from the 2nd story balcony with a hammock hanging. The lake is like 10-15 feet from your balcony. Super cool place"

"We spend 2 nights in hostal part of jungle lodge hotel Even that location is in the middle of a jungle we didnt experienced anything in terms of mosquito's or other insects Grounds and common areas were kept clean and immaculate Friendly stuff Great delicious food at the hotel restaurant Lots of tours offered like sunset ,sunrise and archeological among many others Lots of birds to watch and ither friendly wildlife. "La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The sauna and boat is at an additional cost but is definitely worthy, They offer free continental breakfast and the food is good! We rented a car in Peten which gave us the freedom...
