"I thought the property was clean, beds were comfortable, it appears to have been recently painted. The hallways were painted a well lit. We rented a large 3 bedroom apartment with gorgeous views of the city. It is near to a university, walking distance to the harbor. Many food options nearby, with global variety of food. We saw many shops nearby. It is "city like" compared to the rest of new zeland which means there are more people, more cars, more of an urban feel. I felt safe walking...

"The young women that welcomed us at reception was helpful and friendly. The bed linen and bed were fine. New net curtains were fresh and clean. Heater was efficient. Bathroom basin nice and clean and spacious. Regular and efficient trash removal. However: No plug for the sink. Lacked dishcloth, face cloths and toweling was basic. Floors were very dirty, which made the room smell bad. Entrance door stained and dirty and gaps around it. Wood in the door as security looked unsightly, a piece cut...
