"This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. "This was overnight stop in Switzerland on a long drive to Italy. Since Switzerland is quite expensive, was just looking for a clean, simple place. Turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Very good breakfast, really good coffee an plenty of choice."

"Wonderful stay for 4 nights. Room was spacious and very clean with comfortable bed , plenty of Storage and a fridge . Fresh towels every day . Staff very friendly. No dining or bar facility open after lunch time. A short walk to boat to Lucerne or tram to Rigi. "

"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. Staff was nice and some speak excellent English which is nice for those of us who didn't have a chance to learn German. Lots of parking available in the lot next to the train station for...

"We arrived very late due to travel complications, and the staff at the hotel was extremely accommodating and allowed us to do a late check-out. They changed the whole cleaning pattern to allow us to stay a little bit longer than the normal check out time, and this allowed us to get some sleep and enjoy the fantastic shower in the room, as well as walk a little around the hotel, which is in a fantastic location. It is a great place to stay!"
