"Pleasantly surprised by the location of this hotel. While looking for a hotel near Riviere du Loup, the Malbaie area comes up as being close to Riviere du Loup. However, you must take a ferry if travelling from Moncton. Otherwise it is 400 km detour. The cabin was very nice and clean. Be prepared to speak French. Language barrier for non-speakers"

The host added little services which gave the feeling of class and distinguished it from most other places we’ve stayed at. "We stayed one night on a road trip through the North Shore. The room was comfortable and clean although on the small side. No carpet on the floor which we like. The bathroom was recently redone and was roomy with a good shower. The rooms are upstairs from the restaurant so if you have trouble with stairs this might not be a good option. We did not experience any noise from the restaurant below the room or from the street. Our rate did not include breakfast but we had a very good reasonably...
