"Tiny little room, only needed for one night. Loved being up on a high floor with a view, surprised I could still hear loud cars down on the street. Air con worked but not very well, and it was quite hot. I know a/c isn't common in European hotels, which is why I selected this one. Staff not very friendly. I asked if I could check my bag for a few hours on the morning I was checking out, the woman acted like I was a stranger off the street looking for a free service. Not a good feeling when...

"Very convenient location just a few minutes walk outside Bootham Bar. Parking was on street and cost £5 per day for a permit ( arranged by owner on arrival). Double en suite room was comfortable and clean, and great for a 3 night stay. It was room G1 ( shown in picture of hotel on site - the two windows directly on the street on the ground floor. ) it was unbearably warm, June during warm weather- no heating on) and we felt unable to open the windows for two reasons. - the secondary double...

"Great on site parking right next to the races - room spacious and comfy bed - fridge ! But no water you had to purchase from reception - based on the cost think 2 bottles of comp water in the fridge would be a nice gesture - breakfast fresh and tasty a little busy but plenty of replenishment from staff "

"Really nice hotel very clean good parking down side for me is I left at 06:00 but reception seem to be unattended , no lights etc so I was unable to get a receipt for my stay also odd was there didn’t seem to be a box to drop my key into and I didn’t fancy leaving it in the room as you need the key to lock the door when you leave "
