"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"The breakfast was amaizing!!! The room had heating, i turned radiator down but nice if u like heat... the bed was very close to the tv on wall so getting to yhe otherside of the bed you are banging into bed. But rest brilliant, fabulously comfy bed and affordable."

Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. "The rooms are above a pub, in a convenient location. They are alongside the York art gallery and a very short walk to the Minster. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within a short walk as you would expect. The White Horse is only around 10 minutes walk from the station on well lit busy streets. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before official check-in time, but the staff were very friendly and managed to get my room ready early while I settled down with an excellent pint (good...
