"Beautiful property with lovely rooms! Huge carpark so plenty of space for parking. Staff great, John the landlord was very helpful and kindly ordered a cab for us to our function. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Good range of drinks being served! Highly recommend "

"The room/bathroom was very clean & comfortable as it looked newly refurbished. One small point, on our first morning maintenance men turned up at 8.30 am working on the flat roof outside our room. As breakfast was served from 9 am, I would have thought it would have been appropriate to arrange for this work to at least start from 9am when guests are more likely to be at breakfast. I would like to add that all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. "

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. Breakfast was ordered and freshly served in the main dining hall. You could tell the produce was fresh and locally sourced. Very appetising. In all a very...
