"Liked hotel, lovely old fashioned atmosphere and spacious rooms. Had to change room due to unacceptable lumpy mattress. New room mattress was better but still needed to be upgraded or replaced. This one issue spoiled what was otherwise an excellent hotel. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The New Inn, very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous listed building, we stayed in the Lady Jane Grey suite with a massive 4 poster bed and a few quirky charms that you hope to find in a building as old as this. We highly recommend this hotel"

The bar had good chairs for relaxing in with a book and a drink, and there was another room to sit in too. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. A really excellent breakfast, with lovely croissants, or the full English, with vegetarian option. I hope I manage to stay here again!"
