The meal i would compare to a up beat weatherspoons not worth the fortune it costs. I have stayed in another smae brand hotel in Sheffield and the food is much better quality. I have to say though the restaurant staff are 5 star"

I go to the Royal Exeter once a month and I feel as if I am returning home each time: from the lovely personal welcome from the reception staff, the comfort of the bed and the linen quality (far superior to some higher rated hotels locally) and the fab breakfast.
