"The Lookout is a great little hotel right in Rye. If its 5* you are looking for it is not, but lovely building in reasonable condition. Huge room with terrace that was nice. Very comfortable bed with lots of soft bed linen and pillows. Bathroom was a little dated but it all worked and lots of toiletries. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of food for all tastes and you can eat what you want, all freshly cooked. Continental food was fresh and tasty. No lunch or evening food so very quiet. Shame because nice bar and outside sitting area. Staff very helpful and nice. Overall a great stay. Thank you."

"It was a lovely hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The down side it was a bit tired, I was in room 226 and the plug was rusted, bath stained but clean if that makes sense. The tables at dinner time were still full of glasses and plates from previous diners but that’s it, not a massive massive deal but more of a get that right and 5 star all the way. Would definitely stay again though. I didn’t use any of the facilities "

"Great location, 10 minutes to Canterbury, very quiet, great staff - they couldn't do enough for us, greeted us like friends every morning. Would definitely book this place again if in the area - fabulous stay for 4 nights after a 30 hour flight from Australia. "
