"Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. "The hotel manager was very helpful, collected us from Merzouga and drove us back and forth to the MaMa Africa music festival. (We travel by bus not car). The staff were keen to help and i was able to have several large pot of Lipton (black tea) with milk......bliss. The food seemed good although we didn’t have a main meal as we ate mainly in Merzouga. The pool was wonderful and wine was available at a good price."

"Fabulous desert location with included live music and dancing with Touareg. Parking off site, and please do take the 1 1/2 hr camel ride to the camp: it is breathtaking (especially when aiming to arrive 1-2 hours before sundown in the camp). Staff is very capable and welcoming. "
