"Arrived to a warm welcome and an offer of a free later checkout. Room (basic, rear facing by chocie) and bathroom all fine and comfortable. Two chairs in the room, which makes a welcome change. Enjoyed a drink in the large and comfy lounge followed by a very good and reasonably priced dinner with excellent service. Breakfast was terrific, full hot and cold buffet plus made-to-order choices as standard. The buidling has many original features and some very old photos of its heyday hidden away...

"A beautiful hotel, lovely position and nice staff. We had just got married and had complimentary bucks fizz at breakfast and a bottle of bubbly, which we thought was a lovely gesture. The food was great although we would of liked beans with the breakfast. The jacuzzi wasn't working which was unfortunate but the pool and steam room were great. Also it is very convenient to get to town or the beaches. Overall a beautiful place to stay and we would love to visit again. "

"Really nice hotel. Lovely contemporary room. Unsuitable for me as I am travelling by public transport. I thought I could walk to coast (~4 miles?) but I couldn't cross the very busy dual carriageway outside. Lovely terraces in the front ruined by traffic noise. Had to use taxi to get there as was further from town or bus stop than I realised when i booked. "
