"This hotel is centrally located in Tainan. It is easy to get to from the main train station by foot, bus or taxi/Uber. It is about a 30 minute ride via Uber from the HSR station and about 40 minutes by express bus. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will greet you every time you pass through the lobby! The room is pretty clean although I did find some high dust. You'll want to run a tissue across the surface of anyplace you want to hang something. (over the shower stall or clothes rack)...

"This is a decent hotel in a very good location, fairly close to the train station (connects to HSR station) and around a lot of shops and cafes. The breakfast was OK, the rice came out late both days of my stay (first time I have seen a lack of rice in Asia). My bed was clean but my room did have noticeable mold in the shower, and only had one tiny window near the ceiling. I think it is a bit overpriced compared to other places I have stayed at, possibly because of the convenient location."

"Asked about transport to downtown. Seemed perplexed at my question, even though it is the perennial question for this property. He kept saying too far to walk, which I hadn’t mentioned. He finally came out with it. Taxi is the only way,he said. which I find peculiar, since the train station can take you there directly and it is just down the street.
