"Great stay and great value! We stayed here while exploring the New River Gorge and had a simple check in/ out process, stayed in a brand new cabin (so new there was still packaging materials on the lamps) and were even able to use the pool once. The kitchenette has some utensils, a coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge, the private bathroom had plenty of towels and the cabin had AC/ heating that worked great. "Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "

"While our comfort and experience with Townhouse 213 was closer to a 3 (and a one if you include all the perilous stairs), we have massive respect and esteem for Vickie, who was the point person. She is outstanding at her job. She was receptive to the ideas (long text lists from daughter) that we made for improving the 213 so it can shine like we know it can. We can tell the effort put in to rehabing the house. What we will say so that others can be aware of what we weren't 1)there are stairs...

"Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"The cabin was fine except for the one issue I had with the cleanliness. The dishwasher was full of half clean dishes. I say half clean because the dishwasher had been run, but the many of the dishes were not clean. I had to hand wash them first because I did not want to be blamed for putting away unclean dishes and washing them again in the dishwasher would have been futile. "
