"The property is older so do not expect to be a typical hotel, but then what hotel has a wood burning fireplace in the rooms and deer walking around in front of your porch. Food and drinks were good and a good atmosphere to relax and enjoy nature. Easy drive to Blacksburg for VA Tech games."

This cabin was perfect and had everything we wanted, including a king sized bed, hot tub, large comfortable couch, and much more. "My wife, daughter, and I stayed here while enroute to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. The Glo Haus is a unique set up allowing for simple, low key lodging in a very beautiful and scenic area. My daughter spent more time either in or running along the babbling brook situated behind the structures. Each evening and morning we would sit and watch a group of deer that would walk down the hillside easement and eat the acorns that had fallen from the oaks on the property. Firewood is provided for use in the firepit for a small purchase price of $5/bundle and was reasonably priced. Bath House and community kitchen is well maintained and very clean. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and have discussed returning at a later date to rent the stand alone cottages with additional family in tow."
