"Mainly very good rooms, comfortable and clea. However, they are currently refurbishing the corridors which badly need it, so one side of hotel has scaffolding attached. Very polite lady on reception and good value breakfast."

"I stayed here for two nights with my husband on our way down south. He is from the area and wanted to see Rutland Water. We visited various parts of the reservoir and really enjoyed seeing the area around. The hotel was also walkable distance from the museum so it was good to be able to visit that, especially when it started to rain. "We were in room six (I think), on the ground floor in the car park. It was a little noisy as the floorboards were very squeaky and there was a room above us. Also, there were no windows you could open and I like some fresh air. Finally on the downside, the bathroom door was very ill-fitting so was tricky to close and was in no way sound proof... "This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland. "
