"Bit of a palaver at check-in when they thought initially I hadn’t paid, but soon sorted out. Good bar staff and food, and breakfast was cooked skilfully and hot. More confusion over my breakfast being included in my price, which again was sorted but special mention to Monique at breakfast service who is clearly a credit to Greene King, not only sorting my issues but also imparting good information on the surrounding area."

The toilet roll holder had been badly fixed so that it sloped down and the toilet roll kept fallling off it. Tiny little shelf and no where to put toilet bags etc. The room we had was at the back up a steep set of metal stairs.
