"Very clean and newly remodeled property. Rooms look and smell great. Staff was very friendly! EV charging is a plus however is not free at $0.45/kWh. If you are staying here purely for the EV charging I wouldn’t use it. The Tesla Superchargers across the street were much cheaper. Honestly L2 charging should be an included convenience or maybe a couple of cents/kWh at most."

"The Monte Vista is a very interesting historic hotel. The rooms, though, are a little worn around the edges and could use a little updating. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The carpet was worn, and the room was cold. The heater didn’t work very good. But it was still super fun to stay there because of the location. There is a very fun, lively bar on the first level called The Rendezvous. There are also other fun bars/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It is a great location!"
