"It was, as was previously reported, in serious need of updating. That said, we know that would come at a cost. For the budget traveler it is a pleasant, homey place to stay on a lovely, quiet crescent of powered sand. Plenty of hot water and the kitchen was perfect for breakfasts in room. It is walkable to several good restaurants and beach bars. The staff are warm and helpful. Especially my namesake, Kathleen. Her employer should know she is worth her weight in gold! "What a lovely stay at the hotel we enjoyed it very much and the pool area was especially welcoming after a hot day exploring Grenada. The staff were welcoming and friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The location is just beautiful they had little trail you can walk behind the hotel and they had a family of tortoises that we can see everyday. Buses run just at top of slope down to apartments so beach, bars and supermarkets all within 5/10 minutes bus ride or 15/20 minute walk. Manager, Nikita took care of us very well and very welcoming. Few issues with pool ladder and water supply after very heavy rains but these were fixed for us without fuss. Only negative is WIFI and TV (could only get Netflix) but both very intermittent...
