"Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included. Juice,cereal, bacon etc. Very good. Asked for a slight change and it was no problem. Delia the lady was amazing. Nothing too much...

Check in was between 2PM and 6.30 PM, which wasn’t convenient for me, so they gave me a security code to get in the front door, and left my door key in an envelope inside so I could arrive when I was ready. Also looked after my luggage while I was out for the afternoon. Owner is really helpful with guides as to where to go, and how to get there. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Hotel exceeded expectations of a budget hotel, quiet room, comfortable bed, en-suite room...
