"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. It was also a nicely quiet room with an excellent level...

"Lovely hotel, restaurant busy with local ppl having dinner / breakfast. Staff were very pleasant especially the young lady that booked me in and helped me with bus timetable. Breakfast very good. I had a single room, it was clean very basic TV didn’t work. Bathroom was nice but no heating at all and was minus 3. So extremely cold having a shower. "
