"The staff at The Lodge were welcoming and the check in was efficient. The room was hot on entry but opening the window sorted this. The room was lightly serviced everybday which meant new towels only. Whilst tea and coffee was provided, I had to ask for a cup on my second day, and leave a note asking for a clean cup on the third. "The room is a lot smaller in person than it seemed in pictures. But they have things that help keep your compact space neat, such as folding desks, a little shoe and coat cubby by the door, and shelves. It gave me small modern/minimalist home vibes. We made it work for a family and it was affordable and really had a beautiful view. I don’t know if I would stay there long term with a big family but it was just a stay so we could get on the road the next day. The beautiful loft area/reception...
