If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"Batis hotel is conveniently located on front line to the Rethymno beach. Hotel is located about 20 min walk from the old town of Rethymno. Rooms were modern, spacious and clean, however housekeeping doesn't work on Sundays. Air-condition is in every room. Dina - receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she replied all our questions. We had a room on the uper floor (6th) offering great view to the sea and the city. But the downside is that we had to climb the stairs everytime we went out (as there is no elevator), but it's worth it if you're a little bit sporty.
