"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"

(About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "Dieses einfache Ferienhaus liegt 1km außerhalb des kleinen Dorfs Rodakino und ist sehr gut über die Küstenstrasse zu erreichen. Der nächst größere Ort Plakias ist zwar nur 15km aber auf der kurvigen Strecke 30min entfernt. Das Haus hat eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung, ein großes bequemes Bett und volle Küchenausstattung. "Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

Nikos was the perfect host, attentive and communicative but not over-bearing, simply offering guidance and support when needed.
