The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! "A beautiful villa in a great location. We were able to walk to the local village in less than 10 minutes which has great places to eat and a well stocked, small shop. Lovely view to the hills and sea with an easy drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes. The villa is well maintained and really comfortable with a lovely outside area with large table and chairs for eating, plus great sunbeds and a plenty of shade. The pool is clean and great for a family. The teenage boys loved the downstairs...

"Beautiful villa, very well equipped with a very welcoming host, the host even met us half an hour away from the villa, in the middle of the night, to ensure we arrived safely. We were also greeted with a prepared meal and all important essentials, milk, water etc.. The villa was cleaned twice a week with the towels and linen changed. We cannot recommend Harkia Villas highly enough."

"I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. The village of Gerani which is walkable is vibrant with nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery plus a couple of supermarkets which were well stocked. Rethymno town which is fully of...

"This is a beautiful villa with extremely nice hosts who left a delicious Moussaka on the first evening. Its perfect for two families , there is plenty of space both inside and outside with the grounds being particularly nice. The pool is great , we had it heated as it was at the end of the season. You probably need a car as its little remote but there are mini markets nearby. We used both the pizza oven and bbq which were really nice evenings. I would highly recommend this villa We used"
