"Lovely hotel near the centre of Keswick and not too far from the lake. We booked a lake view, the room was comfortable and warm. The room comes with a good breakfast to start your day. Parking is a bonus, we had to pay for this as we had not booked direct with the hotel. You can park for free out the front of the hotel if you are lucky to get a space. Staff are polite and friendly. Great weekend, thank you. "

"Lovely hotel with a relaxed vibe. The staff are all very friendly and offer a great service. Not only were we looked after, but our dog was also made to feel like a guest. The food is also amazing. Quality breakfast and lovely evening meal. We will definitely be returning. "

"A decent place to stay! The room was fine, if a little cold, but the additional heater warmed it up well. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and I had a lovely pint in the bar. Coniston is well worth a visit and The Sun is definitely worth staying at."
