"Don’t be fooled by the photos. This property is 3 feet from a busy waterfront street with trucks, buses and cars passing 3 feet from your windows from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. It’s also directly across from the wharf where all the cruise ships bring their passengers all day long. The room is okay, but the location is anything but ideal "

"Not quite what we expected .. lovely property, spotlessly clean, good location, good facilities e.g. fully equipped kitchen, nicely decorated But small room and noisy doing the day. also more lodgings than B&B with the owner sharing the communal space We paid for the two nights but stayed elsewhere Probably absolutely fine for others but not quite right for use, our fault really as it was our last two nights in lovely NZ and so should have booked something more appropriate"

"The apartment has two flights of stairs which should have been pointed out in the description - e.g. not suitable for disabled persons. My husband uses a wheelchair and an oxygen machine so we had to immediately book another property in Christchurch for our stay. Even without this challenge we would not have stayed as the place was dirty and unkempt - bed did not look freshly made, Shower base was dirty, no dishwasher so unsure of cleanliness of dishes etc. Spilt sugar in cupboard...Definitely...
