It's located on the Royal Mile so you are surrounded by all sorts of shops, restaurants, etc. I felt very safe in this area. So many things to see -- very historic. "

It was great to be able to use lift instead of climbing the stairs with heavy suitcases!! Hotel is conveniently positioned between Edinburgh and historic Dunfermline and close to the airport. Restaurant menu was not very exciting but the atmosphere was very pleasant "

"Enjoyed our stay, the hotel was lovely, our queen room was perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay and hotel staff friendly and polite. We had breakfast included in our room but unfortunately we didn’t make it (overslept in the comfy bed). Only slight downside was the heat in the room, far too warm. The room was like an oven when we first arrived so turned the heating off for the rest of the stay and opened the window, but it didn’t cool down. Also the bar was closed when we returned...
