"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). "The location is in a small village in the mountains and driving in and out is not easy. The property itself is a bit dated but is very charming. The staff and service were excellent. Note that the price does not include breakfast. We stayed on the third floor and internet was unavailable le in the room - we had to go down to the lobby for internet connection. Breakfast and the restaurant were great."

"A present surprise in a quite residential area but just a short walk into the small beautiful old town. We enjoyed a beer at a bar in the town square before walking back to the Hotel for Dinner. Charming restaurant with very nice food and a super helpful waiter who spoke excellent English and made us very welcome. Breakfast was simple but adequate. On se sent tout de suite à l’aise dans ce village vacances. L’appartement était très bien, spacieux et avec tout le nécessaire. "Good location. Nice rooms but looking a bit run down. Bucket under sink to collect drips in one of our two rooms - this was not fixed during our two day stay as promised. However the place does have charm. Breakfast was added to our bill although we did not take it. I had to ask to have it removed."

We were very dissapointed that we had no access to the swimming pool, garden, and the restraunt was closed since they were hosting a wedding. A quick email from them would have been appreciated telling us about this since we booked months in advance - and no offered discount either. Very dissapointed child as the pool and outdoor space was the main reason we paid more and booked this hotel. There is no parking...
