"Saw many reviews criticizing the owner. Had the absolute opposite experience. We arrived in amalfi on a Sunday when there's no taxis running and it was super dark out. Couldn't really find a way to the hotel so as a last resort we reached out to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised that they offered us a ride. "Very well situated family run hotel in the centre of Sorrento. Stayed out of season so very quiet, lots of restaurants close by and easy access to the train station. Nice balconies to the front of the hotel overlooking the street area. A great base for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, use the local bus! "

"Hotel Nice provides great value for the money. It's bright, clean, and in a great area. The continental breakfast was very enjoyable--it's not a heavy breakfast, just pastries, coffee and juice, fruit, yogurt, etc. The staff is terrific! They speak English and know the area. The location was perfect for us too--it's only a block away from the railroad/bus station. This made day trips to Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi very easy. We definitely would stay there again if in Sorrento."
