"Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...

"2 nd time we have stayed and its excellent. Ticks all the boxes for a stay in the northern lakes. All the food was Fab and the Staff very friendly and Helpful. Great if you have a Dog and we enjoyed our Trip Very much 👍"

"Like the walking mainly. Wander from the hotel in any direction and there is something to see, Both long and short walks. "

If staying for The Northern Traverse/Coast2Coast and planning onleaving super early, they can send you off with a basic take away breakfast but need to know a few days in advance."

"Location of the hotel was good. Room was right next to reception and was abit noisy at times with people booking in. I didn’t have the breakfast as I was walking and needed to leave at 8am. I personally think 8am is late to start breakfast service. "
