"Great stay overall. The staff were very professional and friendly. Someone was on reception when I arrived in the evening at c.8.30pm, contrary to what was said in the the note I received from Hotels.com prior (i.e. that reception closes at 7.30pm). There is plenty of free on-site parking, which was convenient. The building is beautiful, nicely maintained and the setting is quite special, in the countryside and beside the Derwent River.
