"Just awful 😞 a large empty car park except for one car and a smashed glass bar door covered up with a piece of plywood greeted you when you drove in. It spoke volumes really. We checked in which was pleasant enough by a helpful young man, and checked out again 5 minutes later. Not a good sign when the cleaning team were still cleaning the bedrooms at 4.30pm. But the main thing was the overwhelming smell of the corridors and the rooms was enough to make your eyes water and you could still smell...

"Located in Bingham centre and with it's own car park it couldn't be any more convenient for us. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast....and a bar. Unfortunately the bar shuts on Mondays."

"WiFi had to be set up by Katie who was really helpful. Very comfy quiet room good dark curtains. Unable to turn on hot tap at basin. Shut the door as the steam from the shower sets off the smoke alarm - but then you cannot see anything in the mirror. Tv signal constantly on the blink. "

"Great location, immediately off junction 29 of m1. Yet it’s quiet, w a gentle hum of traffic. Much better than a high street hotel where you get noisy passing traffic. Staff helpful (accommodated my request for decaf coffee at breakfast and a sandwich on arrival despite kitchen being closed). Comfy bed. "Excellent place to stay, helpful staff, comfortable room and a free continental breakfast, unfortunately the restaurant was no longer open Which was a bit of a shame hopefully it gets back up and running, the park directly opposite was brilliant was nice for a stroll along the water and a evening run along the canal, hotel was great value for money and Retford town was quite pleasant, would stay again."

"Stayed here before rooms are comfortable and bed is enormous. A fair amount of traffic noise from the A46 at night and it was slightly irritating that the broken bathroom door lock was not fixed after we reported it. Will stay again if available."
