"My wife and I spent three nights here as we were in the area for my late father’s funeral. We had chosen the hotel for the wake due to the location and excellent facilities for such an event and due to the fact that as a family, we had often dined in the Passage House Inn just down the hill, so the area held some special memories for us. "Absolute gem of a place, this was our second visit as it's location is super and the hotel itself is a bit quirky and non chain. If travelling by train go to Exeter Central as St David's is uphill."

"It's a good hotel and very quiet when I was there. Breakfast (waitress service) was excellent. My double room was a little small and the en suite very cramped but acceptable. Everywhere was well decorated and spotlessly clean."
