"Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious the only negative point was the shower was very slippery and the tiled floor in the bathroom was slippery when wet. Otherwise a very lovely place to stay."

"Lovely place, very central. Adapted room, very hot. Also, smelt of stale urine, although the room was very clean. Parked in 1 of only 2 disabled bays and in the morning had to ask reception to get a car moved (not disabled) from the bay next to ours as we couldn't get into our car. Bit disappointing. "

The access to this hotel is very confusing and sat nav leaves you high and dry on a main road. The hotel is accessed from an industrial estate off the main road and sits back from the main road behind railings. The other issue, which no one has any control over ,were the work men staying over who decided to have no regard for anyone else and spent half the night making noise, clapping...

"Overnight stay en route home. Room was well presented, clean and tidy. Three spoilers, 1 stairs and landings looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. 2 Fire alarm (false alarm) went off at 00.20 and other guest said this was a regular occurrence. 3 No hot water in bathroom no matter how long I let the tap run. Food and service were excellent."

"Great pub and excellent place to stay. My first time at the Adamson, turned out to be a great choice. The pub and restaurant have been completely refurbished with plenty of nice places to sit.
