"There was a nearby drain issue not the hotels fault but the bar area didnt smell great to sit in. Someone was workibf on this. The linen was clean and bedrooms well kept."

"A very historic hotel recently refurbished for tourist trade. Clean and spacious bedroom with large en-suite well supplied with handles and anti-slip mat. Very comfortable double bed and also single in room with plenty room to spare. Pretty side view over gardens towards River Tay and hills. Excellent friendly service at reception and breakfast and they were quite happy to let me use wi-fi in lounge area after technical check-out time. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget and older...

"Wow! Picturesque house, nestled on a hill with a beautiful walk through garden to get to a charming town just 2 minutes away! The room was small, but lovely; however, did not like that there was two beds in an already small room, and a note on the smaller one not to disrupt or a fee of 50 pounds would incur. All in all enjoyed our stay and the perks given by a restaurant, in town, and a jewelry shop; just for staying here."
