"Thanks to Sure & Dave for being wonderful hosts. We enjoyed as a family and will definitely be coming back soon. We enjoyed the lovely walk, great hot breakfast (Thanks to the chef) with excellent coffee too. "Lovely hotel, staff were so friendly and attentive, check in was easy and parking was ample. The room was decorated beautifully and we were happy with the street view. Close to town, easy to walk around and go out for a drink or coffee nearby. I will say, the bathroom was disappointing - there was hair in the shower and it was dirty so that was a bit off putting. Also, the bed was two singles bolted together but the bolt at the head of the bed had fallen off so it separated during the night...

"The bed was comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Chairs were not comfortable, too low. Nobody on the premises during the night. No emergency phone numbers supplied. Very little in the way of literature about the area. Security of residents’ rooms was questionable. Members of the public had access to the stairs near the front door to the bar."

"Lovely room clean and tidy. Put the heating on when i arrived as room was cold but soon warmed up.comfy bed only thing to suggest is changing the stair carpet as was not in the best condition."

"Our team had a very enjoyable stay whilst working nearby. The host was a fountain of knowledge who could not have done more for us. One of the party was injured and our host went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with the additions from the local bakery and butcher, as well as home made jams and marmalade. Thanks again from all at SWS "

"Very friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Bar was great for a few drinks and the town is great with friendly people everywhere. Big bonus was Vale of Leithen won :-)"
