"We have stayed quite a few times in this hotel over the past few years . We have always found it comfortable and friendly. It’s situation is central with easy access to the town and shops. We’ll be back."

"We spent 4 lovely nights at this hotel with a wonderful group of staff in every area including the big sister Hydro hotel up the hill nearby. We ate in the bar one evening having delicious soup starters and burgers with drinks for a reasonable £50 . The breakfast was buffet style with served hot full Scottish or vegetarian equivalent. Both were great quality and cooked to perfection. There is an inhouse bakery, which we had to sample, and the cakes were delicious. We saw amazing looking sausage...

"Nice people good food nice and handy for Kelso races and just right for one night stay "

"Poor eco friendly at the motel one. Paper cups the get replaced daily, no option to plug wash basin in bathroom, just have to let the water run down the plug hole. Shower screen partial so shower mat gets soaking and needed to be replaced every day.bar only sell bottled beer, thus a glass bottle used every drink."

"Dinner and cooked breakfast was very good. Room basic but clean but no heating on when we got in so very cold until we put radiators on also cold eating downstairs on the evening had to put another jumper on to be comfortable "
